Member of the Week: Avnet

This week we honor Avnet as ECIA’s Member of the Week!

ECIA and the GIPC have a work group of 10 companies meeting to research and discuss the ever changing workplace due to COVID-19. They recently developed a business operations survey to determine adjustments being made due to COVID-19 and to better understand how electronic component companies were handling post pandemic changes and changes due to the recent surge with the DELTA Variant.

Join us for a webinar on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. EST .   Dale Ford, ECIA’s Chief Analyst, will present the survey results followed by a panel discussion with work group members to get their insights. ECIA, through its  EIA Standards Committee (ESC), provides a unique forum for the discussion of technical issues and development of industry standards that drive the manufacture, application and use of electronic component products and systems on a global basis. These voluntary industry standards carry the “EIA Standards” trademark and are developed in accordance with, and accredited by, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Participation in the ECIA standards programs is open to both member and non-member companies who are directly and materially affected by matters addressed by the work. Participation in the ESC encourages the development of voluntary industry-driven standards, collaboration to ensure best practices and excellent networking opportunities and is an excellent opportunity to Connect, Influence and Optimize.
