TPC Semi Industry Survey Shows Uptick In Outlook for Third Quarter

The September survey of electronics industry professionals shows an uptick in the general outlook for the quarter. The survey also reports inventories appear to be moving sideways compared to the August survey results. Click here to review the complete survey results. 

Technology Partners Consulting, (TPC) provides independent third party consulting to electronics suppliers and financial services firms. TPC provides ECIA with a monthly report on a market trends survey administered by Glenn Hitchcock, TPC founder and president. The report provides results from a survey sent to 20,000 electronic industry professionals across the globe to assess their expectations for order activity and inventory levels.

Michael Knight to Address  All Industry Luncheon

The Women in Electronics will host a luncheon following the ECIA Executive Conference on Tuesday October 22 at 12:30 at McCormicks & Schmicks. Michael Knight, president of TTI Semiconductor Group and senior vice president of Corporate Business Development for TTI, Inc. will be presenting "Coding Diversity into  Technology."  His presentation explores the bias  at work in the world around us. Although awareness is increasing, some countermeasures are ineffective. When it comes to technology, the bias of the originators has been hardcoded into its creation. Michael's thoughtful take on this subject will provide guidance and a call to action for the electronics industry.  

Michael will moderate the CEO panel on succession planning during the ECIA Executive Conference at the Loews Chicago O'Hare.
